Horseriding

Wednesday 17th the sun appeared and we called Laura at the Fattoria degli Usignoli in San Donato...we arranged to meet her at 10am to go horse riding.
5 minutes drive from our farmhouse, we arrived at the magnificent estate and spent the next 20 minutes trying to find someone....finally located the horses...

and cats, a dog and a very playful goat....and Laura.

The horses had been rolling happily in the mud and our first task was to clean them! The children happily obliged.....then we mounted went for a ride through the olive groves....

Annick stayed back with the non-horse riders and the ponies...
