Fattoria i Bonsi

Sunday ...and after spending about an hour in the local laundromat doing a week's worth of washing, we headed out to a local olive oil fair/open day at the "Fattoria i Bonsi'. (Bonsi Farm)

Here we are eating chestnuts roasted on the open fire, served in paper cones- a big hit with the little ones.
Don't know how we found the farm, but we did....driving the maze of tiny roads through the beautiful autumn country side...

Amazing estate and gardens complete with peacocks. We inspected the vaults and tasted the local fare and watched sweets being made.

The locals bought olive oil and so did we, but not as much as them.....
